Virebent, partner of the France Pavilion at the World Expo Osaka 2025

The World Expo 2025 will take place in Osaka from April 13 to October 13 and is a major international event. Japan’s third-largest city, expecting nearly 28 million visitors, will welcome not only Japanese nationals but also tourists from all over the world. The Expo will be held on the artificial island of Yumeshima, under the main themes: “Designing Future Society” and “Imagining Our Future Lives.”

The France Pavilion stands out with its original and poetic approach. France has chosen a universal theme: a hymn to love. The pavilion highlights not only French traditions and craftsmanship but also art, creativity, and progress in science, innovation, and social commitment. It embodies French elegance, dynamism, and forward-thinking vision, reflecting the nation’s ability to blend cultural heritage with modernity.

In this prestigious context, Virebent is proud to represent the excellence of French craftsmanship in Japan as one of the official partners of the France Pavilion. It is a true honor for our company to be among the few selected manufacturers involved in this project, alongside renowned houses and internationally recognized brands.

For this exceptional event, Virebent had the opportunity to personalize one of its most iconic pieces: the 14 Juillet tealight holder, designed by Vincent COLLIN. A symbol of our expertise, this piece has been specially reworked for the World Expo with exclusive packaging. A custom design was created to meet the project’s requirements, including bilingual French and Japanese translations.

The 14 Juillet tealight holders — symbols of light and elegance — will be offered as official diplomatic gifts during the Expo, contributing to the celebration of the French art de vivre. Through this partnership, Virebent aims not only to showcase its unique know-how but also to share the very essence of French culture, marked by innovation, beauty, and the art of celebrating life.
